Jonathan "John" France (born August 18, 1971) is an American animator, art director, storyboard artist, production designer and voice actor at Universal Animation.
Born in Blair Hills, Culver City, France was hired by Universal in 1994 during the development of Ama and the Mysterious Crystal, his work which was nominated for the Annie Award for Storyboarding in an Animated Feature Production.
France also co-directed the 2017 Universal animated film Lix.
In February 2019, it was announced that France would direct an original animated film for Universal that centers around "a curious leopard gecko who wants to know what the world is like."
